Silk Mill Studios & Gallery
The Silk Mill in the centre of Frome and close to St. John’s Church hosts weddings as well as its programme of arts and other cultural events. Our natural light gallery and south-west facing courtyard are suitable for couples seeking a bespoke, artisan approach that allows creative freedom.
We have a wedding licence so that legal wedding ceremonies can be held in the gallery as well as the celebration. The west-facing terrace is a real sun trap and within sight of St John’s Church if you wanted to have a more traditional ceremony and walk down to the Silk Mill for the festivities.
Crowcombe Court
The Great Hall, coupled with the formal grounds surrounding Crowcombe Court, offer delightful settings for a drinks reception. In the Summer, garden games can be set up on the Croquet Lawn, and excellent photographs can be captured with the Quantock Hills and the house providing a beautiful backdrop. In cooler seasons the roaring fire in the Great Hall creates an intimate and inviting location.
The formal Wedding Breakfast, celebrating the first meal as a married couple, can be arranged in a number of locations. The Victorian Ballroom makes for a wonderful setting for up to 100 guests to dine in a sumptuous and grand setting. For up to 60 guests the Great Hall is ideal.

Unique outdoor wedding venues within Bath’s historic parks
In the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath there are a number of unique venues in our beautiful listed parks that can be used for weddings, civil partnerships, vow renewals, handfasting, receptions and celebrations.
Set among the winding paths, ornamental planting and rock work, The Temple of Minerva appears through the foliage. A hidden gem in the tranquil setting of the Botanical Gardens. The Temple is licenced for 35 guests for a seated civil ceremony but open up the triple doors and guest numbers can easily swell to 100. The adjacent lawn provides the perfect location for a marquee, picnic, BBQ or lawn games.
Walton Castle
A Grade II listed hill top property, moments away from the unspoiled Victorian seaside town of Clevedon.
Walton Castle is truly the perfect venue for weddings. The bridal party can all settle in at the castle using the 8 double-bedrooms for a few days and be joined by their loved ones on the big day.
There is also a choice of 3 stunning areas registered on our wedding licence.
